Yoon So-ha works at the university as a professor’s assistant and hopes for a promotion soon. One day, the woman finds out that her husband is cheating on her and that her uncle, whose existence she had no idea about, has died and left her an inheritance — a family cemetery in the middle of nowhere. The examination reveals that the uncle was poisoned, and a strange young man shows up at the memorial service and claims to be So‑ha’s half‑brother and also has a right to this land. While the police are investigating the uncle’s murder, other crimes begin to occur in the village.
